15 out of 16 coronavirus patients in Vietnam recovered and discharged.
Feb 21 – China’s central Hubei province had 411 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infections on Thursday, the province’s health commission said on Friday, up from 349 cases a day earlier.
The uptick in cases reversed three days of declines. That brings the total accumulated number of confirmed cases in Hubei to 62,442.
The death toll in Hubei from the outbreak reached 2,144 as of the end of Thursday, up by 115 from the previous day. Ryan Woo reports on Reuters.

According to the Vietnam’s Ministry of Health, among 16 cases of infection across the country, 15 patients have recovered and discharged from the hospitals. The remaining case, a U.S Citizen man in Saigon has recovered and is expected to be released from hospital on Friday.
Vinh Phuc Province, around 40 kilometers from Hanoi, was hit hardest in the coronavirus epidemic in Vietnam, with 11 confirmed infections, most of them have been discharged. Dan Tri Newspaper reports.
Medical experts have confirmed there is no specific medicine or vaccine to treat the coronavirus, though Vietnam has enough capacity, experience and confidence to treat patients.
So far, the country has gradually developed an effective treatment plan for coronavirus patients with 15 out of 16 infected cases successfully treated, the Vietnam’s Ministry of Health has said.
