Most companies build a work process as they grow. They keep learning new things and adding them in the process. Without realizing, they make the workflow too complex to easily understand and improve. Just because its complex, doesn’t mean it’s good. Break the entire process into pieces and see what takes how much time and resources. Identify the points that can be removed or replaced with better alternatives. Fast and smooth workflow is crucial for a great manufacturing process.
Use Up-to-Date Technology
Labor is a job mostly left only for technology. Machines work harder, faster, and more efficiently than humans, and the difference is a lot more significant than one can imagine. In your manufacturing process, highlight the jobs that can be done by a machine. If a work doesn’t require innovation, it doesn’t require humans.
