Four patients infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Vietnam will be discharged from hospital today afternoon (March 29, 2020).
Dr. Nguyen Thanh Dung, Director of Cu Chi field hospital in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City has confirmed with a reporter of national television channel, VTV24.
They will now move to their home where they will be quarantined for a further 14 days as required.
This raises the number of patients released from hospital to 25.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Health on March 26 issued a regimen for diagnosis and treatment of acute respiratory infections caused by the new coronavirus. This is a complete treatment regimen for Covid-19 patients, replacing previous diagnostic and therapeutic guidelines.
