Organizers expect the grand event to gather around 90 delegates from countries and territories worldwide. Consequently, it will serve as the opening act for the Khanh Hoa Tourism Year 2027. This kickoff triggers a massive series of celebratory activities.
The pageant’s official calendar runs from December 25, 2026, through January 16, 2027. These high-profile events will unfold across the vibrant wards of Nha Trang and South Nha Trang. Several neighboring localities will also host activities.
Ahead of the official announcement, the Miss Cosmo Organizing Committee met with local leaders on July 6. They presented their execution blueprint to the Provincial People’s Committee. The Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism also attended.

Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, praised the organizers’ comprehensive plan. He expressed high hopes for the global competition. The pageant will shine a brilliant spotlight on Khanh Hoa’s rich culture, stunning tourism, and welcoming people.
The high-profile meeting on the afternoon of July 8 featured a prestigious delegation. Specifically, the group included reigning Miss Cosmo Yolina Lindquist and runner-up Chelsea Fernandez. Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025 Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh also joined them.
Miss Cosmo debuted in Vietnam in 2024 under the banner “Impactful Beauty.” The pageant seeks to forge cultural bridges and foster international exchange far beyond standard pageantry. Organizers note that welcoming hundreds of global guests, corporate partners, and media elites offers an unprecedented stage. This turnout will showcase Khanh Hoa and elevate Vietnam’s broader tourism profile.
Organizers scheduled the spectacular coronation night for January 16, 2027. The evening culminates in a dramatic final walk by reigning queen Yolina Lindquist. She will then pass the crown to her successor.
The American beauty revealed that Khanh Hoa’s pristine landscapes and heritage deeply captivated her. Therefore, she pledged to use her global platform to champion local tourism throughout the pageant.
Securing this international showcase honors Khanh Hoa’s rich, two-decade legacy of hosting premier pageants. Past events stretch from Miss Universe 2008 to Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025. Ultimately, Miss Cosmo 2026 will solidify the province’s status as a world-class entertainment hub. It also cements Vietnam’s formidable rise on the global beauty map.
