Three more coronavirus (COVID-19) patients, a Czech man and two Vietnamese, recovered and were discharged from Ho Chi Minh City’s Củ Chi Hospital for Acute Respiratory Diseases on Monday after more than two weeks of treatment, while a hospital in Hanoi discharged 27 patients, marking the largest batch of patients let go after recovery at a time in Vietnam.
Dr. Tran Chanh Xuân, the hospital’s deputy director of Củ Chi Hospital for Acute Respiratory Diseases, said all three tested negative more than two times.
They will be quarantined and monitored at their home for the next 14 days, he said.
As of March 30 there recorded 194 COVID-19 patients, including 55 who have been discharged from hospitals. The rest are currently being treated. There have been no deaths in the country so far.
Ho Chi Minh City has had 45 of them, including 10 who have recovered.
