While many commenters initially assumed the images were AI-generated, the person behind the photos confirmed it is entirely real, located on Nhon Hoa 12 Street in Da Nang City.
According to Quang Nam, he was stunned when he first saw the jackfruit tree during a visit to an acquaintance’s house. Captivated by the sight, he asked for permission to take photos and post them online.
The tree stands out not only for its prolific yield but also for the architectural ingenuity that accommodated its growth. The homeowner built a square ceiling cutout leading directly to the second-floor balcony, granting the tree ample room to shoot upward, branch out into a lush green canopy, and even bear fruit on the upper deck.

Speaking with the press, the homeowner, Mrs. Xuan, shared that the tree was planted 15 years ago and yields such a heavy harvest every single year. She also revealed that designing the house with an opening for the tree was an idea conceived by her children.

Currently, the tree bears around 100 fruits, with some past seasons yielding even larger harvests.
Reacting to the photos, countless netizens expressed sheer amazement, with several wishing they could visit and admire the one-of-a-kind tree in person.
Yet, a prolific jackfruit tree like this is not unprecedented in Vietnam. Previously, a similar tree captured public attention at a coffee shop in Tuyen Quang Province. Boasting a massive, twisting trunk and broad foliage that casts ample shade, that tree produces large jackfruits weighing 5 to 7 kilograms each, resting directly across the second-floor wooden floorboards.
According to the café owner, the tree is considered a good luck charm for the business. Each fruiting season, it draws over 100 visitors a day. During peak crowds, guests often wait an hour or more just to see and take photos with the extraordinary tree.
