Accordingly, 4 passport models applied from August 15 include: Diplomatic passport, sepia cover page (HCNG form); official passport, dark green cover page (HCCV form); ordinary passport, blue-violet cover page (HCPT form); Ordinary passport issued by shortened procedure, black cover page (form HCPT-RG).

The Circular of the Ministry of Public Security also stipulates a new passport form, the outer cover of which is printed with the national emblem, national emblem, and passport name; Passport with electronic chip. The images of the pages in the passport are scenes of Vietnam’s country and cultural heritage, combined with bronze drum motifs; Languages ​​used for passports are Vietnamese and English.

The number of pages in the passport (excluding the cover page) is 48 pages for a diplomatic passport; Official passports and ordinary passports are valid for 5 years or 10 years. An ordinary passport with 12 pages is issued under the shortened procedure and is valid for no more than 12 months.

According to the circular, the electronic chip will be placed in the back cover of the passport with the chip. The passport cover is a high-strength synthetic plastic. Letters, passport numbers are punched by laser technology smoothly from page 1 to back cover. All contents and images printed in passports are made with modern technology, meeting security requirements, anti-counterfeiting and meeting ICAO standards.

Phan Thiet Airport’s military section to operate from early 2024

The U.K. released a series of consultations last year detailing that systemic stablecoin’s would be brought under existing regulations with a new objective of returning customer funds alongside the objective of making sure operations continue, something which some respondents worried about.

“Few others noted concerns that adding a new objective for returning customer funds to all systemically important payments entities may lead to situations where this was prioritised over ensuring continuity of service to mitigate acute stability risks,” the document said. The government said that it will continue to work with regulators to review its approach.

Fake PayPal USD Tokens Pop up on Several Blockchains

While the tokens are yet to come, some scammers are already trying to trap unsuspecting users. The modus operandi is to issue a token, name it “PYUSD,” add liquidity with ether or another token and offer it to users on a decentralized exchange.

This is possible as anyone can call a smart contract and issue tokens on Ethereum (or other blockchains) for a few cents, and the presence of decentralized exchanges means tokens can instantly be issued, supplied with liquidity and traded soon after.

Most of the supply of these tokens are likely purchased by their creators after issuance, giving the illusion of a trendy token while being a honeypot in reality. The hustle may yield a few thousand dollars in a few hours for such developers – making it a profitable, albeit wholly unethical, venture.

Some developers may, however, pull all liquidity from the fake tokens hours after issuance, causing prices to drop 100% and leaving speculators holding digital dust.

The relatively swift recovery has bolstered sentiment for CRV tokens, which have pared most of the losses from a 30% drop following the attack.

Curve Finance has recouped some 73% of funds stolen during a hack, which saw the platform lose over $73 million worth of various tokens, causing contagion effects in the broader ecosystem.

Over the past week, all $22 million in ether (ETH) and ether derivatives stolen from lending protocol AlchemixFi were returned. A trading bot returned 90% in ether stolen from JPEGd, ethical hacker “c0ffeebabe.eth” returned over $6 million from synthetic protocol Metronome and a Curve trading pool, while another ethical hacker returned $13 million from Alchemix.

Curve, which lets users cheaply swap stablecoins on its platform, was hit by a reentrancy attack that allowed attackers to steal tokens from Curve, and lending and borrowing platforms Metronome and Alchemix. These affected protocols have since offered a 10% bounty for returning the assets by August 6, as reported.

Reentrancy is a common bug that allows attackers to trick a smart contract by making repeated calls, or software commands, to a protocol in order to steal assets. The attack was traced to faulty code on Vyper, a programming language used to power parts of the Curve system.

Shortly following the attacks, Curve offered a 10% bounty to attackers for the return of the funds. On Friday, the attacker started to return funds to Alchemix after confirming the deposit address in a blockchain message.

Over $18 million in stolen funds are still remaining, with Curve opening up the bounty to the public on Sunday night.

“The deadline for the voluntary return of funds in the Curve exploit passed at 0800 UTC,” Curve Finance said in a blockchain transaction. “We now extend the bounty to the public, and offer a reward valued at 10% of remaining exploited funds (currently $1.85M) to the person who is able to identify the exploiter in a way that leads to a conviction in the courts.”

“If the exploiter chooses to return the funds in full, we will not pursue this further,” the protocol added.
