Tigerair, the low-cost airline from Taiwan, will launch a new direct route between Taoyuan and Phu Quoc Island on April 2, as part of its ongoing efforts to expand into the Southeast Asian market.
In a statement, Tigerair announced that initially, there will be three round-trip flights between the two destinations each week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Flight IT557 to Phu Quoc will depart at 14:40 from Taoyuan International Airport, and the return flight IT558 to Taoyuan will leave Phu Quoc International Airport at 18:25, according to Focus Taiwan.
To celebrate the new route, the airline said special fare deals will be announced starting from next Tuesday.
