A tour guide in Cau Giay District, Hà Nội, is the latest Coronavirus patient in Vietnam confirmed by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
This has brought the total number of infection cases in Hanoi to five and in the country to 39. Vietnam Television reported.
The 29-year-old man works for Amazing Ninh Bình Company and had contact with British tourists who were on flight VN0054 from London to Hanoi.
He guided the tourists to Ninh Binh Province.
The British tourists are being quarantined in Quảng Ninh Province.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the tour guide started to have a 37.6 degree Celsius fever on March 8 without coughing or shortness of breath.
Upon knowing the tourists tested positive for the virus, he went to Saint Paul Hospital in Hà Nội for a health check.
He is being quarantined in stable condition at the National Hospital for Tropical Disease No 2 in Dong Anh District, Hanoi.
His rented house was sterilised on Tuesday night. Two people who owned the house have been put in quarantine.
Flight VN0054 has had so far 13 SARS-CoV-12 patients. Eleven are foreigners and two are Vietnamese.

The two apps – NCOVI for Vietnamese nationals and Vietnam Health Declaration for foreigners in Vietnam – launched on Monday afternoon are now available on Android’s Google Play Store and pending approval on the Apple’s App Store.

Trần Đắc Phu, a consultant for MoH’s Public Health Emergency Operations Centre, said based on updated information, local medical workers can track people’s health for prompt interventions, especially those in close contact with infected people or returning from disease epicentres.
Vietnam’s Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam, head of the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control, issued the order at a meeting last Friday.
The arrivals can choose to file the declaration in paper or electronic form, via the Preventive Health Department website suckhoetoandan.vn/khaiyte. or https://tokhaiyte.vn The declaration form is available in English, Chinese, South Korean, Italian and Cambodian. VNExpress, local media reports.
The Ministry of Health also requires those with symptoms like cough, fever, shortness of breath, and fatigue to be examined and quarantined.
