Fourteen coronavirus (Covid-19) patients in Vietnam have tested negative for the Covid-19 while three others are in critical condition.
According to the Ministry of Health, by this morning, March 25, Vietnam confirmed 134 Covid-19 cases with 17 among those discharged from hospital.
Meanwhile, the remaining cases are being treated at 15 medical facilities nationwide. Most of them are in stable health condition without fever. Their lungs are functioning normally. Dan Tri Newspaper reported.
Fourteen cases have tested negative for between a first and third time.
However, three cases, who are in critical condition, are being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi. They have to use ventilator and dialysis.
Two others also have to use ventilators.
Up to 46 patients are staying at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases, including 34 Vietnamese and 12 foreigners.
The Ministry of Health has set up a consultation team with 30 senior doctors and experts to seek the best treatment methods for endangered people.
As of Tuesday night 1,596 people have been classified as suspected cases of the new coronavirus disease in Vietnam. Of them, 221 were put on the list Tuesday, according to the Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC).
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc last Wednesday had ordered the suspension of all flights to Vietnam amidst restricted entry into the country by air, road and sea.
Starting last Sunday, Vietnam had suspended entry for all foreign nationals, including those of Vietnamese origin and family members with visa waivers.
The nation had also demanded all people entering the nation from abroad to be put in quarantine for two weeks.
