Artists donate works to raise funds for coronavirus fight

An online auction being held by Vietnam Art Space Group on the Facebook to raise funds for the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be lasted until 22:00, March 28, 2020.

Some 80 paintings, which donated by Vietnamese artists will go under the hammer.

“When we announced a charity auction, we received immediate support from the artists,” said Tran Thao Hien, the admin of Vietnam Art Space Group. “The artists did not hesitate to join the nation fight against the pandemic.”

With the participation of the artists and the stories behind the artworks, the auction will attract numerous buyers, according to Hien.

The auction will be a good opportunity for collectors to buy artworks by famous artists at reasonable prices, Hien added. “The artists are willing to present their works for auction with much lower prices than their real values.”

Vietnam Art Space Group will present work by some of the country’s leading contemporary artists, donated to benefit Government of Vietnam for the coronavirus fight.
