No new coronavirus cases or deaths being reported in Vietnam on Monday.
This marked the 18th straight day of no new new community-based in Vietnam.
The latest case reported yesterday is a British expert, who arrived in HCMC this week to work on a project of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petro Vietnam).

He arrived Vietnam on April 28 by a private jet with 12 others. After landing at Tan Son Nhat Airport in HCMC, he and the others were immediately quarantined.
The man first tested negative for virus along with the other people on board but a second test taken the day before yesterday revealed a positive result.
He is currently being treated at a Field Hospital in HCMC.
So far, 219 patients have made a full recovery, although there have been 14 relapses. There have still been no new community-based infections for 18 days.
More than 30,000 people are quarantined in the country – 246 suspected patients in hospitals specialized for Covid-19 treatment, over 5,700 at centralized facilities and the rest at home.
Coronavirus spread to Vietnam on 23 January 2020, when its first known case of COVID-19 was reported. As of 04 May 2020 the country had 271 confirmed cases with no deaths. More than 261,000 tests have been performed. Hanoi is currently the most-affected city with 112 confirmed cases.
The Covid-19 pandemic has spread to 212 countries and territories, with more than 245,000 deaths reported so far.
