At approximately 2:10 PM on July 2, a fatal traffic accident involving a truck and a motorcycle occurred on National Highway 6 as it passed through Dan Village in Yen Chau Commune, Son La.
According to initial reports, a truck bearing license plate 36K-247.22 was traveling from Son La toward Hanoi when it collided with an oncoming motorcycle carrying license plate 26B2-383.38.
The collision killed the motorcyclist instantly at the scene and left both vehicles heavily damaged.

At the time of the accident, the road surface was slick and wet due to previous rain, although the traffic safety signaling system in the area was fully in place.
Immediately upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police force, alongside functional units and local authorities, arrived at the scene to secure the area, direct traffic, and regulate vehicles to ensure smooth travel along National Highway 6.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated and clarified by functional authorities.
