No new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Wednesday evening, meaning Vietnam hasn’t seen any new cases in the community in the past 34 days, according to the latest report from the Ministry of Health.
So far, a total of 184 COVID-19 patients out of the country’s tally of 324 cases were quarantined right after entering the country. Vietnam News Agency reported.

264 cases have recovered, accounting for 82 per cent of the accumulative caseload, while the 60 active cases are being treated at nine medical facilities across the country.
Three have tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 virus after treatment, while five more have tested negative for the virus twice.
Nearly 8,000 people are under quarantine at hospitals, medical stations and at home.
No fatalities have been reported in the country so far. — VNS
